Great fit, but… Whatâs with Spanx and continuosly reducing the durability of their fabric??Iâve purchased at least one spanx product every 6 months for the past 5 years. Initially, the tights were not only functional, but also durable. One tight could last through 6 months of daily wear before my entitled self would start craving a new one. Not because the old one is no longer doing the work, but just because Iâm craving the nice, hugging feel of a new pair of spanx tights.These days, the tights donât even last for 3 months before either developing gaping holes in awkward places, or losing their cinching powers around the critical waist-line area where it is most needed!So i decided to switch to the Higher Power Panty. I purchased it in the same size i get the tights.On my first wear, even while being mindful not to ruffle the flimsy material, my finger was still somehow able to poke through it. Comfortable and effective I am a larger person and carry most of the extra “largeness” in my tummy area. I just wanted something to hold back and smooth a bit while wearing a dress to a special family occasion. This was my first time using SPANX brand. It worked well and was extremely comfortable compared to an alternative I’ve tried before. Fit was to be expected, and it didn’t roll down when I sat or bent over.
Long Wear Review. I’ve had this panty/spanx for well over 6 months now. So let’s get down to it.It’s well, breathable. Don’t expect to be able to twerk in them but they are not restrictive.Washes well, retains elasticity, works well with other clothing.However, – tends to roll down at the top after constant use and during a long days wear. – does not play well when you go out to try on clothing – does not like to be adjusted often – will dig into thigh cuts over time – makes the transition between thigh and stomach look questionable.Overall point. Don’t wear under form fitting or body con clothing. Not great for all day wear or more than 8 hrs. Breathable, won’t make you hot. Does not do will with heavy activity (i.e. dancing).
